MY STORY
My name is Christy. I'm a Colorado native and creator and owner of Girls Gone Grillin' LLC, which specializes in BBQ Sauces, Rubs and Seasonings. I started competing at the Smokin' on the Beaver BBQ competition in 2017 with The Ruckin Fednecks. In 2024, it was time to put together my all-girl team. I have won a few banners over the years, including:
On April 16th 2025
"Hot Hens" placed 7th in the American Royal World Series of Barbecue.
July 2025 Girls gone Grillin Finished 2nd in Peoples Choice and 3rd in anything goes catagories
JUNE 2025 – Lakeviews and BBQ! Organized by Girls Gone Grillin'
Not only did Girls Gone Grillin’ finish 5th overall, but we also took home 2nd place for my award-winning brisket—made with my signature S.P.G. (Salt, Pepper, Garlic) blend with a kiss of onion! 🔥🥩🌟

Our very first organized BBQ competition was a huge success, and we’re still smiling (and maybe still sweating) from the 100+ degree heat!
Massive thanks to our amazing volunteers, judges, and all the incredible teams who toughed it out and made the day unforgettable. Between team meetings, volunteer coordination, and judges' huddles, it was hectic—but Girls Gone Grillin’ made it happen!
Not only did we help run the show, we competed too—taking 2nd in Brisket and finishing 5th overall! 🙌

We’ve also added more competitions and vendor events to our calendar, so expect to see us at even more spots throughout the region.
Another big milestone? We’re now a proud member of the Rocky Mountain BBQ Association! We’re looking forward to competing alongside some truly great teams and continuing to bring bold flavor and fierce spirit to every event.
