Cast Iron Pizza on the Smoker Girls Gone Grillin' Style 


Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • Pepperoni, sausage, veggies, or favorite toppings
  • Cornmeal (optional for crisp crust)

Directions

Preheat your smoker to 425°F.

Place a 10–12 inch cast iron skillet in the smoker while it heats.

Lightly oil the hot skillet and sprinkle with a little cornmeal if using.

Stretch the dough into the skillet, pushing it slightly up the sides.

Brush edges with olive oil.

Add sauce, cheese, and toppings.

Smoke for 18–25 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.
