Ultimate Tuna Melt — Girls Gone Grillin’ Style
This isn’t your average tuna melt—this is bold, buttery, crispy, melty perfection loaded with flavor from your Girls Gone Grillin’ lineup.
- Tuna Mix (Flavor Packed)
- 2 cans tuna (drained)
- ¼ cup mayo
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon relish or chopped pickles
- 1 tablespoon red onion, finely diced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1½ teaspoons Girls Gone Grillin’ SPG with a Kiss of Onion
- ½ teaspoon Girls Gone Grillin’ Sassy Seafood
- Optional: pinch of Hot Hens for heat
- Mix everything until creamy and well combined.
- Garlic Butter Spread
- ½ stick butter (softened)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon SPG with a Kiss of Onion
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley
Mix and set aside.
Build the Melt
Thick-cut sourdough or Texas toast
Tuna mix
Sliced tomato
Sharp cheddar + provolone (or Swiss)
Optional: crispy bacon (because… yes)
How to Cook (Cast Iron = BEST)
Heat skillet over medium heat.
Spread garlic butter on OUTSIDE of bread.
Build sandwich:
Bread
Tuna mix
Tomato
Cheese (don’t be shy)
Top slice
Grill low & slow until golden and crispy.
Flip, press lightly, and cook until cheese is melted and gooey.
