This Hot Hens Chili Crunch

This Hot Hens Chili Crunch adds a bold, smoky heat and crispy texture. It’s amazing on grilled chicken, eggs, pizza, tacos, dumplings, burgers, or roasted veggies—perfect for your Girls Gone Grillin’ recipes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup avocado oil (or neutral oil)
  • 3 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1½ tbsp Girls Gone Grillin’ Hot Hens seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped shallots or onion
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and shallots and cook until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside (this becomes the crunch).
  • In a heat-safe bowl combine:
  • chili flakes
  • Hot Hens seasoning
  • sesame seeds
  • sugar
  • salt

Heat the oil to about 325°F and carefully pour over the chili mixture.

Stir in the crispy garlic and shallots once slightly cooled.

Grill Tip 

Drizzle this over grilled wings, smash burgers, shrimp skewers, or even smoked cream cheese.

Crushed peanuts or cashews

Crispy fried onions

A splash of soy sauce or rice vinegar
