Surf & Turf Skewers with Chimichurri – Girls Gone Grillin’ Style 

Steak + shrimp, hot grill, bold sauce… this one always steals the show.

Ingredients

Chimichurri Sauce

  • 1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • ½ tsp Girls Gone Grillin’ Hot Hens BBQ seasoning
  • ⅓–½ cup olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional Girls Gone Grillin’ twist: pinch of SPG or citrus seasoning

Assemble

Toss steak cubes lightly with olive oil + SPG.

Toss shrimp with olive oil + Sassy Seafood Sprinkle.

Skewer steak → shrimp → steak, repeating for balance.

Grill It 

Preheat grill to medium-high (400–450°F)

Grill skewers 2–3 minutes per side, turning carefully

Steak: medium-rare to medium

Shrimp: opaque with light char (don’t overcook!)

Chimichurri (Make Ahead Friendly)

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Taste and adjust oil/salt.

Let sit 15–30 minutes for max flavor.

Serve Like a Boss

Spoon chimichurri over hot skewers

Finish with flaky salt or a squeeze of lemon

Serve with grilled veggies, rice, or crusty bread

Pro Tips

Keep shrimp and steak similar size for even cooking

High heat = better char

 Extra chimichurri = drizzle on everything
