Smoked Sweet & Sticky Cherry Chipotle Ham ( isn't just for Christmas)
Ingredients
Instructions
Preheat smoker
Set smoker to 225°F. Use apple, cherry, or pecan wood.
Season the ham
Lightly coat the outside with Sweet & Sticky seasoning, pressing it into the spiral slices.
Smoke
Place ham in a foil pan. Add ½ cup apple juice to the bottom of the pan.
Smoke uncovered for 2–2½ hours, until internal temp reaches 130–135°F.
Glaze
Brush generously with Cherry Chipotle BBQ Sauce (mix with a little honey if desired).
Cover loosely with foil and return to smoker.
Finish
Continue smoking another 30–45 minutes, glazing once more, until internal temp hits 140°F.
Rest & serve
Rest 10–15 minutes, slice, and enjoy!
Pro Tip
Spoon extra Cherry Chipotle sauce down into the spiral slices before serving for maximum flavor in every bite.
