Smoked Salmon with Pecan Whisper Glaze

Ingredients

  • 1–2 lb fresh salmon filet (skin on)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1–2 tbsp SPG with a Kiss of Onion
  • ½ cup Girls Gone Grillin’ Pecan Whisper BBQ Sauce
  • Optional: fresh thyme or chopped pecans for garnish
  • Lemon or lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  • Prep the Salmon
  • Pat salmon dry. Lightly brush with olive oil.
  • Season generously with SPG with a Kiss of Onion.
  • Smoke It
  • Preheat smoker to 225°F.
  • Place salmon skin-side down directly on grates or on butcher paper.
  • Smoke for about 45–60 minutes, until internal temp reaches 135–140°F.
  • Add the Pecan Whisper Magic

During the last 10–15 minutes, brush the top with Pecan Whisper BBQ Sauce.

Let it caramelize and lightly glaze over.

Rest & Serve

Remove and rest 5 minutes.

Garnish with thyme or crushed pecans.
