Smoked Peach Cobbler — Girls Gone Grillin’ style
bubbly, smoky, and perfect straight off the smoker.
Ingredients
- Peach Filling
- 6–7 fresh peaches, sliced (or 2 cans sliced peaches, drained)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
- Cobbler Topping
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup melted butter
Optional Add-Ins
A handful of raspberries or blueberries
Cinnamon sugar sprinkle on top
Smoker Setup
Temp: 325–350°F
Wood: Apple, cherry, or pecan
Skillet: 10–12 inch cast iron
Instructions
Preheat smoker to 325–350°F with mild fruit wood.
Make the filling
Toss peaches with brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, lemon juice, and salt.
Spread evenly in a lightly buttered cast iron skillet.
Make the topping
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
Assemble
Spoon topping over peaches (don’t fully cover—rustic is perfect).
Smoke it
Place skillet on smoker grates. Smoke 45–60 minutes, until filling is bubbling and topping is golden.
Rest & serve
Let rest 10–15 minutes before serving.
Pro Tips
Keep smoke light—dessert absorbs smoke fast
For a caramelized top, bump heat to 375°F for the last 10 minutes
Serve with vanilla ice cream and let it melt into that smoky peach goodness
