Smoked Cheesy Potato Stacks
These work great on the smoker and pick up a light smoky flavor while getting crispy edges.
Ingredients
- 4 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan
- 1 tsp Girls Gone Grillin’ SPG with a Kiss of Onion
- ½ tsp paprika
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley or chives for garnish
Smoker Instructions
1. Preheat Smoker
Set smoker to 350–375°F.
Good woods: pecan, apple, or cherry.
2. Season Potatoes
Mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic, SPG with a Kiss of Onion, and paprika.
Toss the sliced potatoes until coated.
3. Build the Stacks
Grease a muffin tin or small cast-iron pan.
Layer potato slices, adding a little cheddar and Parmesan between layers.
4. Smoke
Place the pan directly on the smoker.
Cook 35–45 minutes until:
potatoes are tender
edges are crispy
cheese is melted
5. Finish
Add a little extra cheese on top and smoke 5 more minutes until bubbly.
6. Serve
Remove carefully and top with parsley or chives.
