Pecan Whisper Sweet Potato Boats

- Ingredients (4 Boats)
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- Olive oil
- Girls Gone Grillin’ SPG (with a Kiss of Onion)
- 2 cups smoked pulled pork
- ¾–1 cup Pecan Whisper BBQ Sauce
- ½ cup goat cheese or feta (optional but)
- ¼ cup chopped pecans
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Roast or Smoke the Sweet Potatoes
Rub with olive oil
Light sprinkle of SPG
Smoke at 250°F for 1½–2 hours
OR bake at 400°F for 45–60 minutes
They should be soft and caramelized.
Load Them Up
Slice open lengthwise.
Fluff the inside slightly.
Add:
Warm pulled pork
Generous drizzle of Pecan Whisper
Finish Strong
Top with:
Crumbled goat cheese
Chopped pecans
Final light drizzle of sauce
Optional: 5 minutes back on grill to melt cheese slightly.
Pro Move
Mix 1 tbsp Pecan Whisper into sour cream for a smoky drizzle sauce.
