Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 works best)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ small onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1½ tbsp Girls Gone Grillin’ SPG (with a Kiss of Onion)
- ½ cup finely chopped pecans (optional bu)
- 1 cup Pecan Whisper BBQ Sauce
- 2 tbsp butter (for glaze)
Instructions
Mix It Up
In a large bowl combine:
Ground beef
Breadcrumbs
Eggs
Milk
Onion
Garlic
Worcestershire
SPG
Chopped pecans
Mix gently — don’t overwork it.
Shape
Form into a loaf shape (free-form works best for smoke flavor).
Place on a wire rack or directly on smoker grates.
Smoke
Preheat smoker to 250°F
Smoke for about 2 hours
Internal temp should reach 150°F before glazing
Pecan Whisper Glaze
Warm:
1 cup Pecan Whisper
2 tbsp butter
Brush generously over the meatloaf.
Increase smoker temp to 325–350°F and cook until internal temp hits 160–165°F.
