Ingredients (12 Poppers)
- 6 large jalapeños (halved lengthwise, seeds removed)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar
- 1 tsp Girls Gone Grillin’ SPG (with a Kiss of Onion)
- 12 slices thin bacon (cut in half if needed)
- ½–¾ cup Pecan Whisper BBQ Sauce
- Toothpicks (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the Filling
- Combine:
- Cream cheese
- Cheddar
- SPG
- Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Stuff + Wrap
- Fill each jalapeño half generously.
- Wrap with bacon (secure with toothpick if needed).
Smoke
Smoke at 250°F for about 60–75 minutes.
Bacon should start rendering and jalapeños soften.
Glaze Magic
Brush generously with Pecan Whisper during the last 10–15 minutes.
Increase heat to 325–350°F to tighten sauce and crisp bacon.
Pull when bacon is caramelized and sticky.
