Ingredients
6 chicken thighs (bone-in or boneless)
1 tsp Girls Gone Grillin’ SPG with a Kiss of Onion
½ cup Girls Gone Grillin’ Pecan BBQ Sauce
½ cup pineapple juice
½ cup crushed pineapple
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
Pineapple rings
Green onions for garnish
Instructions
1. Season the chicken
Pat chicken thighs dry and season generously with SPG with a Kiss of Onion.
2. Make the glaze
In a bowl mix:
pecan BBQ sauce
pineapple juice
crushed pineapple
soy sauce
brown sugar
3. Cook the chicken
Heat grill or cast-iron skillet to medium heat.
Add oil and cook chicken thighs 6–7 minutes per side until nicely browned.
4. Add the sauce
Pour the pineapple pecan BBQ glaze over the chicken and let it simmer until thick and sticky.
5. Grill the pineapple
Grill pineapple rings until caramelized and slightly charred.
6. Finish
Top chicken with grilled pineapple and garnish with sliced green onions.
