These party ribs are cut into individual bites before cooking so every piece gets coated in smoky BBQ flavor. The pecan BBQ sauce adds a sweet, nutty glaze that’s perfect for game day, tailgates, or backyard gatherings.
Ingredients
2 racks pork spare ribs or baby back ribs
2 tbsp Girls Gone Grillin’ SPG with a Kiss of Onion
1 tbsp Girls Gone Grillin’ Hot Hens (optional for heat)
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp butter (cut into small cubes)
1 cup pecan BBQ sauce
Honey drizzle (optional)
Instructions
1. Prep the ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
Slice ribs between each bone so you have individual rib pieces.
2. Season
Place ribs in a large bowl and coat with:
SPG with a Kiss of Onion
Hot Hens
brown sugar
Toss until evenly coated.
3. Smoke the ribs
Preheat smoker to 275°F.
Use pecan wood if possible.
Place ribs directly on the grates.
Smoke for 1½ hours.
4. Sauce & finish
Transfer ribs to a foil pan.
Add:
butter cubes
pecan BBQ sauce
drizzle of honey
Toss ribs so they are coated.
Return pan to smoker uncovered for 30–40 minutes until sticky and caramelized.
Serve
Pile them high on a platter and garnish with:
chopped parsley
sliced green onions
