Ingredients

  • 8 oz lump crab meat
  • 8 oz cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 2 tbsp green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp Girls Gone Grillin’ Sassy Seafood seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp butter or oil (for cooking)
  • Lime Drizzle Sauce
  • ¼ cup sour cream or mayo
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • ½ tsp lime zest
  • pinch Sassy Seafood seasoning

Instructions

Mix the base

In a bowl combine mayo, egg, Dijon, lime juice, lime zest, Sassy Seafood seasoning, and garlic powder.

Add seafood

Gently fold in crab, lobster, green onions, cilantro, and panko. Try not to break up the crab too much.

Form cakes

Shape into 4–6 patties. Refrigerate 20 minutes to help them hold together.

Cook

Heat butter or oil in a skillet (or cast iron on the grill).

Cook cakes 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

Make sauce

Stir together sour cream, lime juice, lime zest, and seasoning.

Serve

Drizzle with lime sauce and garnish with cilantro and lime wedges.

Grill Tip

You can cook these on a Blackstone or cast-iron skillet on the grill to get that slight smoky flavor that pairs beautifully with the citrus.

Optional Girls Gone Grillin’ Twist

Add:

½ tsp Cherry Chipotle seasoning for a subtle smoky heat

or

top with a small drizzle of Cherry Chipotle BBQ sauce + lime juice for a sweet-heat finish.
