Lime Garlic Salmon – Girls Gone Grillin’ Style

Ingredients

  • 1½–2 lb salmon fillet (skin on or off)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • Juice of 1–2 limes
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1–1½ tsp Girls Gone Grillin’ SPG with a Kiss of Onion
  • Optional heat: pinch of Hot Hens seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro or parsley
  • Lime slices, for serving

Instructions

Prep the salmon

Pat dry and place on foil, a grill mat, or cedar plank.

Make the lime garlic glaze

Mix olive oil (or butter), lime zest, lime juice, garlic, SPG, and optional heat.

Season

Brush generously over the salmon. Let sit 10–15 minutes (don’t over-marinate).

Cook

Grill: 375–400°F, indirect heat, 12–15 minutes

Smoker: 225–250°F, 25–35 minutes (light fruit wood is )

Oven: 400°F, 12–15 minutes

Cook until salmon flakes easily and hits ~140°F internal.

Finish

Sprinkle with fresh herbs and add lime slices. Optional drizzle of melted butter right before serving.

Pro Tips

Want crispy edges? Finish with 1–2 minutes of direct heat at the end

Amazing with grilled asparagus, rice, or a citrus avocado salad
