Kielbasa & Shrimp Skewers Girls Gone Grillin’ Style with Cherry Chipotle BBQ Sauce

Sweet, smoky, and just the right kick—these skewers are a total crowd-pleaser and perfect for quick weeknight grilling or game day.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined (tails on optional)
  • 14–16 oz kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1½-inch rounds
  • Girls Gone Grillin' Cherry Chipotle BBQ Sauce
  • Olive oil
  • SPG with a Kiss of Onion (or salt & pepper)
  • Optional: red onion chunks or bell peppers for color
  • Wooden skewers (soaked) or metal skewers

Instructions

Prep

Pat shrimp dry. Toss shrimp lightly with olive oil and SPG.

Assemble

Thread shrimp and kielbasa onto skewers, alternating for even cooking. Add onion or peppers if using.

Grill

Preheat grill to medium heat (375–400°F). Grill skewers 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp are pink and slightly charred.

Sauce It Up

Brush generously with Cherry Chipotle BBQ Sauce during the last 1–2 minutes, flipping once to caramelize.

Finish

Remove from grill and brush with a little extra sauce before serving.

Don’t sauce too early—Cherry Chipotle has sugars that caramelize fast.
