Grilled Portobello Mushrooms (Girls Gone Grillin’ Style)

Ingredients

  • 4 large portobello mushroom caps (stems removed, cleaned)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Girls Gone Grillin’ SPG with a Kiss of Onion
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
  • 1 tbsp butter (for finishing)

Marinade Magic

In a bowl, mix:

Olive oil

Balsamic vinegar

Worcestershire

Garlic

Herbs

Brush mushrooms generously on both sides.

Let sit 15–30 minutes (don’t skip—these soak it up!).

Grill Method (Best Flavor)

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Place mushrooms cap-side down first.

Grill 4–5 minutes per side until tender and juicy.

Add a small pat of butter on top while finishing.

Cast Iron Method

Heat skillet over medium-high.

Add a little oil, then mushrooms.

Cook 5–6 minutes per side until caramelized and tender.

Spoon juices over the top as they cook.
