Grilled Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter Lemon Sauce

Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 4 lobster tails (5–6 oz each)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1–2 lemons
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
Prep the Lobster
Using kitchen shears, cut down the top of the shell lengthwise.
Gently pull the meat up and rest it on top of the shell (leave attached at the base).
Pat dry and lightly season with salt & pepper.
Garlic Butter Lemon Sauce
Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and cook 30–60 seconds (don’t brown it).
Stir in lemon zest and juice.
Remove from heat and add parsley (and red pepper flakes if using).
Save half for dipping!
Grill Instructions
Preheat grill to medium-high (400–450°F).
Lightly oil grates.
Place lobster tails flesh side down for 4–5 minutes.
Flip, brush generously with garlic butter.
Grill another 4–6 minutes until:
Meat is opaque
Internal temp reaches 135–140°F
Shell turns bright red

Brush with more garlic butter.
Squeeze fresh lemon on top.
Garnish with parsley.
Serve with extra dipping sauce.
