Easy Sweet & Zesty Jalapeño Cornbread Girls Gone Grillin' Style 

(Box Mix Version using Sweet & Sticky)

Quick, foolproof, and still packed with that sweet-heat flavor—perfect for busy cook days or last-minute sides.

Ingredients

  • 1 box cornbread mix (Jiffy or similar)
  • Ingredients listed on the box (usually milk, eggs, oil)
  • 1–1½ tsp Girls Gone Grillin’ Sweet and Sticky BBQ seasoning
  • 2–3 fresh jalapeños, diced (remove seeds for mild)
  • Optional: ½ cup shredded cheddar or pepper jack
  • Sweet & Sticky Glaze (Optional but)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ tsp Sweet & Sticky seasoning

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (or smoker to 350–375°F, indirect heat).

Grease a cast iron skillet or baking dish and warm it slightly.

Prepare cornbread mix according to the box directions.

Stir in Sweet & Sticky seasoning, jalapeños, and cheese (if using).

Pour batter into skillet or pan.

Bake 20–25 minutes, until golden and set.

Brush with the Sweet & Sticky glaze while warm.

Skip the glaze and just drizzle honey on top
