Cowboy Butter Steak Sliders-Girls Gone Grillin' Style

Cowboy Butter Steak Sliders

Juicy steak, melty cowboy butter, toasted buns — these sliders are bold, buttery, and built for game day or backyard parties.

Ingredients

  • 1½ lbs sirloin or ribeye

  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian or brioche)

  • Salt & black pepper

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 6 slices provolone or pepper jack (optional)

  • Cowboy Butter

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tsp fresh thyme (optional)

  • Pinch salt

Make the Cowboy Butter

Mix all ingredients until smooth.

Roll into a log using plastic wrap.

Chill 30–60 minutes until firm.

Slice into butter “coins.”

Cook the Steak

Season steak generously.

Sear in hot cast iron or grill to medium-rare.

Rest 5–10 minutes, then slice thin.

Assemble Sliders

Lightly toast buns.

Add sliced steak.

Place a slice of cowboy butter on top — let it melt.

Add cheese if desired.

Top bun and serve warm.

Optional Upgrade

Brush tops with melted butter + sprinkle everything seasoning and bake 5 minutes for that pull-apart slider tray vibe.
