Chipotle Salmon Tacos - Girls Gone Grillin Style

Chipotle Salmon Tacos 

These are bold, smoky, a little spicy, and PERFECT for a Girls Gone Grillin’ taco night.

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • For the Salmon
  • 1 lb salmon (skin removed)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1–2 tsp chipotle powder (or 1 minced chipotle in adobo)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Girls Gone Grillin’ SPG with a Kiss of Onion
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • For the Slaw
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 tbsp mayo or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Pinch salt

Toppings

Avocado slices

Fresh cilantro

Queso fresco or cotija

Extra lime wedges

Warm corn or flour tortillas 

Instructions

Season salmon with oil, chipotle, paprika, SPG, garlic, and lime.

Grill over medium heat (or cook in cast iron) 3–4 minutes per side.

Flake into large chunks.

Toss slaw ingredients together.

Build tacos: salmon → slaw → avocado → cheese → cilantro → squeeze of lime.

Girls Gone Grillin’ Twist

Add a drizzle of chipotle crema (sour cream + adobo sauce + lime).

Sprinkle a little Hot Hens if you want extra heat.

Add grilled pineapple for sweet + smoky balance.
