Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Girls Gone Grillin’ SPG with a Kiss of Onion (to taste)

  • 8 slices deli ham (Black Forest or honey ham works great)

  • 8 slices Swiss cheese

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil or butter (for skillet)

  • Creamy Dijon Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp flour

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • ½ tsp Girls Gone Grillin’ SPG

  • Optional: splash of white wine or lemon juice

Instructions

 Prep the Chicken

Butterfly chicken breasts horizontally (don’t cut all the way through).

Season inside and out with SPG with a Kiss of Onion.

Layer 2 slices ham + 2 slices Swiss cheese inside each breast.

Fold closed and secure with toothpicks if needed.

 Bread the Chicken

Dredge each stuffed chicken breast in:

Flour

Egg wash

Panko mixed with paprika & garlic powder

Press crumbs in well.

 Sear in Cast Iron

Preheat cast iron skillet over medium heat.

Add oil or butter.

Sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.

Finish Cooking

Reduce heat to medium-low.

Cover skillet and cook 8–10 minutes, or until internal temp hits 165°F.

(If breasts are thick, you can finish in a 375°F oven for 10–12 minutes.)

Make the Sauce (Same Skillet!)

Remove chicken and tent loosely with foil.

Melt butter in skillet.

Whisk in flour → cook 1 minute.

Slowly whisk in cream and broth.

Stir in Dijon and SPG.

Simmer until thick and silky.

Serve It Up

Spoon creamy Dijon sauce over chicken.

Garnish with parsley or chives.

Crusty bread for that sauce
