Bacon Wrapped Shrimp — Girls Gone Grillin’ Style

Using pre-cooked bacon (quick & foolproof!)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp (16–20 count), peeled & deveined (tails on optional)
  • Pre-cooked bacon strips, halved
  • Olive oil or melted butter
  • Girls Gone Grillin’ Hot Hens BBQ seasoning (or your favorite Girls Gone Grillin' seasoning)
  • Optional finish: hot honey, BBQ glaze, or lemon wedges

Prep

Season the shrimp lightly with olive oil or butter and SPG.

Wrap each shrimp with half a strip of pre-cooked bacon. Secure with a toothpick.

Grill

Preheat grill to 375–400°F (medium-high).

Grill shrimp 2–3 minutes per side, just until shrimp are opaque and lightly charred.

Tip: Pre-cooked bacon won’t need long—this keeps shrimp juicy.

Optional Finish

Brush with hot honey or a light BBQ glaze during the last 30 seconds.

Serve with lemon wedges or a creamy dipping sauce.

Pro Tips

If bacon needs extra color, move shrimp to a hot zone for 30–45 seconds per side.
