Bacon-Wrapped Pecan Whisper Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • 2 pork tenderloins
  • 1½–2 tbsp Girls Gone Grillin’ SPG (with a Kiss of Onion)
  • 12–16 slices thin bacon
  • 1 cup Pecan Whisper BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Toothpicks (if needed)

Instructions

  • Season
  • Pat tenderloins dry.
  • Season generously with SPG on all sides.
  • Let sit 20–30 minutes.

Wrap It

Lay bacon strips slightly overlapping.

Place pork at one end and roll tightly.

Secure with toothpicks if needed.

Smoke

Preheat smoker to 250°F.

Smoke until internal temp hits 135–140°F (about 1–1½ hours).

Glaze + Finish

Warm:

1 cup Pecan Whisper

2 tbsp butter

Brush heavily over tenderloin.

Increase heat to 350–375°F to crisp bacon and caramelize glaze.

Pull at 145°F internal. Rest 10 minutes before slicing.

Pro Tips (Competition-Level)

• For extra sticky finish: glaze twice

• Sprinkle chopped pecans on the glaze during final 5 minutes

• For crispier bacon: finish directly over flame for 1–2 minutes
